Mayor of Tower Hamlets hustings on the Isle of Dogs – Tuesday 24th April.

Put it in your diaries now to challenge the candidates.

The candidates to be elected Mayor of Tower Hamlets on 3rd May will be answering your questions at a hustings event organised by the Forum on Tuesday 24th April, starting at 6pm.  It’ll be held at Seven Mills Primary School, 4 Malabar St, Isle of Dogs, London E14 8LY.  Click here for a map.

Many of you will remember the lively Mayoral hustings we held at St John’s Community Centre for the 2015 election, following the ousting of Lutfur Rahman by the electoral court.  We’ve been told it was far and away the best attended hustings that year.

With some 45,000 people living on the Island today, the candidates are very keen to win our votes.    They’ve got the message that the Isle of Dogs community knows what we want, and that we’re determined to demand performance by those we elect.  So when they stand for election to be the Executive Mayor of our Borough, they need to step up and hear what we have to say.

Come along on the 24th and have your say.  Everyone’s welcome.
